Dass Apparel Creation Center

Located in Saudades/SC, the apparel development center – Dass Apparel Creation Center – in addition to generating business, carries out research related to the application of technology and improvements to our production processes, as well as the creation of collections aligned with the main trends of fashion.

The Dass Group is committed to global reference standards, under strict compliance rules of the brands we work with, having exclusive spaces and teams to serve each client, with access control and information security measures. In addition, our employees, upon joining the company, sign a Confidentiality Agreement as an addendum to their Employment Contract.

The environment is dedicated to Product Development and Engineering processes, which require a robust and specialized technical team, the use of cutting-edge technologies and software to meet the global requirements of the brands that make up the Dass Group’s client portfolio. This unit stands out for its research and development of new materials, the creation of products, a focus on technical and creative modeling (3D) and laboratory tests at each stage of development.

In recent years, the entire physical space of the Dass Apparel Creation Center was restructured and new management processes and systems were implemented to better meet customer and market demands. In 2022, the DCC Saudades/SC building received LEED Certification, becoming an example of sustainability in green buildings.

Apparel Production Chain

When it comes to clothing, Dass is the largest operation in the sports segment in Brazil, being involved from the development and production of fabrics, through its own production of heat transfers, collars, tapes, as well as being a pioneer in the use of printing digital technology for manufacturing sublimation paper.

Our factories are equipped with the most modern equipment in the segment, with 100% of the cutting done on automatic machines, state-of-the-art embroidery machines, rotating printing carousels, calenders for sublimation and embossing until they are sewn by the skilled hands of our employees.

Located in Guarulhos/SP, Têxtil Tecnicor is one of the units of the Dass Group, responsible for manufacturing fabrics that are supplied to the other units in the company’s apparel and footwear sectors. It is linked to the company’s verticalization process and, therefore, is a strategic unit.

In operation since 1986, it was acquired by the Company in 2018, when the process of reformulating its physical structure and expertise in managing its operations began. This unit has circular and warp knitting, dyeing, finishing, laboratories for color development, and testing in accordance with international and commercial standards, in addition to fabric classification, packaging, and shipping with its own fleet.

Dass Print is our raw material unit intended for the production of apparel components for global and national brands. Operating since 2010, in Saudades/SC, with a focus on process automation and efficiency, the factory has been seeking greater competitiveness in the market in which it operates. To achieve this, it has invested in digital printing and automated screen-printing technologies, using eco-friendly raw materials.

Our industrial park has state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology, operated in accordance with strict criteria of quality, safety, and respect for the environment. In the apparel production chain, the Dass Group has eight manufacturing units in Brazil, with emphasis on more than 180 sewing production cells.
